De-mag
Demagnetization is the process of removing the magnetic field placed on the rod from the EMI machine. Rods are run through the coil in the opposite direction removing the magnetic field. The rods are then dipped into a vat that applies a coat of CR094 inhibitor. The inhibitor protects the rod from atmospheric damage. Then the rods are counted and graded according to the manufacture information on the wrench flat. The rods are then palletized or bundled for distribution.
